The Judgement Day came to tonight's WWE NXT to celebrate their latest victory at The Great American Bash, where Dominik Mysterio retained his NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali. Ripley had more than a hand in helping Dominik retain his Title, and both Ripley and Dominik came to NXT to gloat. They ended up being confronted by Dragon Lee, and a Title match would be booked for next week, but that wasn't the only confrontation the two had. When Ripley and Dominik were walking outside, they were approached by Axiom, and that led to a hilarious segment when Ripley referred to Axiom as a Power Ranger.

When Ripley and Mysterio were outside, they were approached by Axiom, who had issues with Dominik calling himself the greatest luchador ever earlier in the night. Axiom also expressed appreciation for Dominik's father Rey Mysterio as Dragon Lee had earlier in the night, and that led to Dominik confusing Axiom for Lee.

Dominik said asked Axiom why he was back after already telling them he loved Rey Mysterio, and Axiom then told him that was Dragon Lee. Dominik then said 'Then who the hell are you?" As Axiom tried to make sense of it all, Ripley answered Dominik's question, saying "he's a Power Ranger" while smiling and laughing. They didn't get to laugh long, as Mustafa Ali then came into the picture and had his own issues with Dominik.

Ripley was referring to Axiom's luchador mask, which does look more like a helmet than a traditional mask. She's not entirely wrong either, as Axiom based his gear on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' White Ranger, so while it's a shot at Axiom from Ripley and Dominik, he has made a nod to Power Rangers fans as well.

Dominik got everyone angry when he called himself the greatest luchador alive, and Dragon Lee would come out and confront Mysterio. He expressed his appreciation for Rey and that annoyed Ripley and Dominik. Lee would challenge Dominik to a match for the North American Championship and Dominik would accept, but Lee had a surprise in store.

After Dominik accepted the challenge, Ripley then told Lee that she would be at ringside with Dominik, because wherever he goes, she goes. Lee then said that he was bringing in some support of his own, and that's when Rey Mysterio appeared on the screen and revealed he would be joining Lee next week on NXT.

Haunted Mansion Review

In his review of Disney Haunted Mansion (2023), ComicBook.com critic Charlie Ridgley says:

Disney's new take on Haunted Mansion was always going to have its work cut out for it, thanks to the ill will earned from the 2003 film. Some wondered if the attraction was somehow unadaptable without Guillermo del Toro (who was once attached to helm the project). Enter the team of director Justin Simien and screenwriter Kate Dippold, who have made questions about Haunted Mansion's adaptability feel rather silly. Their Haunted Mansion movie is a breath of fresh air for everyone who has grown tired of Disney's lifeless live-action output of late, as well as die-hard Haunted Mansion ride fans who have been begging to see a film actually give the attraction the love it deserves.

Twisted Metal Review

In his review of Peacock's Twisted Metal TV series, gamer/critic Cade Onder said the following:

Twisted Metal is a very charming show that manages to accomplish a lot in its ten 30-minute episodes. There are tons of well-earned laughs, a diverse cast of eccentric characters with fleshed out and unique backstories, and a surprising amount of world-building. It's almost shocking that the show isn't longer, given everything it does and how well it pulls it all off. While there are some areas that suffer, such as the vehicular action scenes, everything else comes together in such a satisfying way that it makes Twisted Metal another very successful gaming adaptation.

In other Power Rangers news, it was revealed during this past San Diego Comic-Con event that Legend of the White Dragon, the final feature film starring Jason David Frank, will launch in 2024.

What Is Legend of the White Dragon?

Legend of the White Dragon is currently slated to release in 2024 as director and co-writer Aaron Schoenke explained that the team is now in the midst of reshoots to add in more materials that Jason David Frank had wanted. Which is why it will no longer be releasing on its intended date on September 4th this year, Frank's 50th birthday. "We were done with principal photography with Jason, and now we are doing reshoots to add a lot of things that he wanted to add in... We only get one chance to make Jason's last movie, and that's what's going to last for forever. So I hope you all understand, it's only because we want to make it the best possible."

Legend of the White Dragon stars Jason David Frank alongside Mark Dacascos (John Wick III), King Bach (Walking Dead, Greenland), Michael Madsen (Kill Bill 1 & 2, Sin City), David Ramsey (Arrow, The Flash), Aaron Schoenke, Jason Faunt, Rachel Brooke Smith, Ciara Hanna, Kevin Porter, Mayling Ng, Cerina Vincent, and Jenna Rae Frank. Its story is teased as such, "After being a fugitive on the run for three years, the White Dragon (Jason David Frank) has returned to the city he fought to protect. He must now clear his name and save the family he keeps in secret before the mysterious Dragon Prime (Aaron Schoenke) unleashes his own revenge on the White Dragon."

"When Jason David Frank tragically took his own life late last year, it became the filmmaker's mission to honor his legacy by completing the film the way Frank envisioned it. Frank was a beloved actor who still has a great emotional impact on fans around the world. He was a world-renowned and acclaimed martial artist, who brought the same passion to his performances on the screen. In this film, Jason David Frank plays Erik Reed, a complex character that really allowed him to showcase his incredible range as an actor," the press release reads.

"We are proud to have worked with such a talented actor, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share his final performance with the world," said filmmaker and co-star Aaron Schoenke. "Having been on this journey with Jason for 10 years, I know he would be beyond excited to know that Legend of the White Dragon will be opening in theaters."

Legend of the White Dragon, the final feature film starring Jason David Frank, has announced it will now be releasing in 2024 with a new trailer showing off all of the action featuring the legendary actor! Bat in the Sun's Legend of the White Dragon has been an independent action film project that Frank had been championing before his tragic passing last year, and fans have been very curious to see the new film in order to best honor Frank's efforts given all that he seemed to be putting behind the role. Now it's one step closer to its release.

Legend of the White Dragon used its panel during San Diego Comic-Con to host a special memorial for Jason David Frank, and it was announced by Legend of the White Dragon director and co-writer Aaron Schoenke (as reported by Entertainment Weekly) that the film will now release during the first quarter of 2024 as Schoenke and film team are now in the process of reshoots for the movie following Frank's passing. After rewatching multiple installments I can say that #MissionImpossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 falls somewhere in the middle of the franchise for me. Too overstuffed with characters, and too simplistic in narrative turns - despite gripping tension & some truly awesome stunts.
